Table is set for six with Blue Willow china and my blue Pier One Imports chargers. |
I collected a few more pieces of silver mercury glass over the Christmas season. I had a few paperwhite blooms that were still looking fresh when I tossed the rest of them so I put them in a vase. |
I made the place cards on the computer and the holders are actually corn cob holders. Sorry I realize I should have taken more closeups. |
I think you did a great job for your first Tablescape Thursday. Your grandmother's Blue Willow China is certainly a treasure and is put to excellent use here. I love the candlesticks and that darling little silver bird at center table. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful table! I love blue and white and also anything chinoiserie in those colors, and this is just stunning. The perfect way to spend a winter day at such a lovely table.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tablescape Thursday. So glad you joined us for this fun event.
XO,
Sheila :-)
I think you did a great job. I love the blue dishes and your murcury glass.
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute! The photos are great and if you hadn't said anything, we wouldn't have noticed anything. I have learned a lot since starting in May. It is fun looking back at my first tablescapes. I love the learning curve and finding what works and what I like. You will too. Now, I go back and remove pictures I don't like or maybe take a new one. I never would have done that at the beginning.
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologize, you did a great job and it is really beautiful. I loved the snowy vignette and the color of blue is outstanding. Those blue chargers are incredible with the plates and your centerpiece is really well put together! Keep coming back!
How fabulous!.., What a wonderful 'first time' tablescape! I love the colours and every exquiste detail..,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to 'Tablescape Thursday'!
